Didn’t like the movie inspite of some spectacular shots. It has a convincing story and some excellently done action sequences. But doesn’t jell together smoothly. There were too many closeup shots and lagging conversations that could have been done better. I couldn’t stand the indoor scenes. Felt casting could be improved. Get rid of the geezers. I thought astronauts have to always be in great shape! There are some incongruities like people walking normally on the moon. Other than the action shots movie was insipid. Brad Pitt has some emotional baggage since his father abandoned him to go off on space exploration which he carried throughout the movie. Ending was atleast somewhat sarisfying.
