If I had to summarize this whole game up in one sentence I would say that there are two sides to every story. I played the first game and fell in love. I played the second one and felt even better about it then the first. Everyone gives it hate because of how they went about things with Joel and Ellie and even Abby. After playing the first fame you get a sense of emotional connection for the Hoel and Ellie and you truly are heart broken and resent curtain characters but after playing as Abby and seeing what she went threw you would do the exact same thing as she did if someone killed someone close to you. Context is a really big thing in this game as well; for example my mom has never played the first one or even seen the first one but watched me play the second half of this game as Abby. She loved Abby and hated Ellie for what she did. At the end of the day they were both wrong and had recognized it and had come to peace with themselves and their struggles. The ending was a little weird and it was a little stretched but for the most part I had no problems and I would an do plan on playing it again. This whole situation in the game makes me think of Meehan in the walking dead and how he killed glen but overtime the show makes him into the good guy. Overall I really loved the gameplay, and story line and would recommend this game. At the end of the day you’ll love it or hate it. I hope they make a part 3.
