It's a great concept, except I don't think it was directed well.
The very beginning is very slow, as well as other times the ghost comes to kill the suspense built from the first few seconds completely dies out after the character slowly and quietly walks around.
After they take the picture of the police officer, and the real story is explained, the ghost tears his voodoo photo in half and he dies, while the kids watch instead of doing anything.
Also, there is no character development whatsoever. Yes, the main character gains a friend, but that's it.
But for the positives, The cafeteria scene is really nice and I like how it introduces the voodoo part of the picture.
I like the story itself and the two different sides to it
