I can only imagine that this snowflake appeasing trend of changing classics so that females have more importance was the reason for the changing which child dies. When will this madness end! It's on ok film but nothing special, not compared to the original and certainly not compared to the book. Sadly until they do a direct adaptation like the Green Mile and possibly Stand By Me then Steven Kind films will continue to me mediocre at best. The abortion that was the last ten minutes of this film was the scariest and most disturbing thing about it.

Not a wordy or in depth review just a simple fans opinions. I left feeling a little deflated to be honest, a little with the film in general and with having to say goodbye to some of the beloved characters. Nothing wrong with the film per say it just felt more like a whimsical comedy in the first quarter which didn't feel right considering the gravitas of the situation. Many things kept pulling me out of the film like, why has nobody asked captain marvel "erm yeah thanks for saving Tony, but erm yeah who the hell are you?", or why was nebula accepted into the inner sanctum so quickly, why was the ridiculously feminist moment pandered to (you will know it when you see it)? Why was the whole Hulk thing skipped over so fast? How was a mere mortal with absolutely no powers able to wield the infinity gauntlet? Plus many more......... Don't get me wrong it was a good film but yeah it was just ok .
