I love this book! I teach content-area literacy courses for aspiring teachers - I always recommend this book to them. It is full of great ideas for helping students become literate in the content areas, including techniques to use before, during, and after reading, strategies to develop vocabulary and for writing in the content areas, as well as techniques for using technology. It is a wonderful resource for anyone who wants to help students become more literate in any content area (math, science, social studies, literature, health, whatever . . .).
