Diana Rich

An earnest endeavor with a jarring, disconnected flow. A few of the flashbacks/flashforwards worked, but too many had the feeling of being thrown in to try to fix a twisty or crumpled narrative, probably because the story arcs don't always follow the book. The acting was a pleasure to watch. The sets and costumes subtly contributed to the sense of time and place.
