I'm a Chris Hemsworth fan so I may be a bit biased... But as action films go, I thought it was quite entertaining with a tinge of bravado mixed in.
I think if we try to analyze the film Extraction based on plausibility then box office hits like The Avengers: Infinity War; The Fate of The Furious; Skyfall; Mission Impossible - The Fallout; and even the old Bruce Willis Die Hard movies would probably have many flaws in their story lines as well.
So, I tend to try and enjoy the movies I watch based on my own perceptions of them, and you know what, I thoroughly get a kick out of watching action films like these. In Extraction, unfortunately what happens to Hemsworth (Tyler Rake) in the end was not unexpected but still sad to see.
Also, I didn't realize that Golshifteh Farahani (Nik Khan) was in Bodies of Lies with Russel Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio but I like her and she's gorgeous too. I also liked Randeep Hooda (Saju) and Rudhraksh Jaiswal's (Ovi) acting in the movie.
So overall I gave it a 4-Star rating.
