I’ve been playing hockey since I was six. Been playing video game hockey since Nintendo’s Ice Hockey, Blades of Steel, and NHLPA on my old Sega Genesis. Honestly it has its flaws. And although they are small flaws, there are several of them and they go from ascetically annoying to down right irritating. The play control is bad. The passing is bad. The new announcers are terrible. And what really annoys me is that when I am playing franchise mode, and I am the Flyers, I score a goal with Giroux, my 20th of the year, and it says FIRST career goal? Seriously? If you can’t get the stats right then you obviously can’t make a game right. Seriously disappointed. But after I thought about it I remembered, it’s EA games. And they only care about making money and not a quality game. Look at what they did with Star Wars. So I retrospect, I am not surprised at this garbage they put out.
