Spider-Man Far From Home allows audiences to relate to Peter Parker more. In Homecoming, it was less of a Spider-Man story with an average joe figuring out what to do with his powers. He instead was handed everything through technology, it’s more a story of a restless teenager. It was less relatable. In Far From Home, he is figuring out how to fill Tony Stark’s shoes. It is something daunting and relatable, geared toward our doubts on if we’ll ever be good enough. We see Peter Parker wish he wasn’t a superhero, then we see him overcome that. In my mind that’s a more powerful and more relatable story; closer to the classic Spider-Man take we know and love.
