It is undeniably sad and this book will change you in some way and it so happened for me as well but I truly believe for better. This is definitely not a light reading but I loved every second of it. Every character, every emotion and every relationship that is potrayed in this book is just so intense and imperfectly beautiful. The deep seated pain or the pure joy expressed through the characters resonated with my very core and every second of it was immaculately convincing. The love between some of characters is truly an inspiring ideal to look upto: just unconditional, mutual and real. During the time that you are in process of reading , you'll think about the book a lot because the complexity of human emotions which is dealt in such a palpable manner in this book. There are extremities portrayed in the book, and just to reiterate: it can get really sad at times and you would want to stop but you won't stop. One thing I can assure you is that you will not regret reading it:)
