christian is a good actress in everything else i’ve seen her in, but she was not the right choice to portray Salena. the whole show including all of the actors just feels extremely cheap. barely any of the characters are believable. i feel like it doesn’t reach any of the positive strong vibes, the struggling vibes, or beauty of the strong amazing woman and family that it should have. the casting could’ve been done better, the directing, and the acting. i almost want a redo. a series about Salena shouldn’t have fallen anything short of the movie and the actors should have been chosen much more carefully. Even the settings feel fake and too staged. sad.
