My review was deleted but ill keep the important part so that players in the future know what happened:::: The biggest problem with Luis and the Aliens is the fact that, despite its EXCELLENT setup in every other part of the movie, it fails to complete the flubbydubby arc set up in the middle of the movie. I have continued to fret about this for the past year. I am literally at my edge and either i can be sassiated with a satisfying wrap up sequel that completes this missing story beat, or theres fanfiction that finishes it for the awful screenwriters. For those not in the know, one gag in the movie is that the aliens (i cant remember their names know but its ok theyre just minions) the aliens order this thing from the tv, the flubbydubby and they order a TON of them. What matters is that they NEVER ARRIVE. This is a collasal FLAW in ANY STORY. Setting up a storybeat this deeply connected to your characters arc. Having the audience REMEMBER IT. (as it was so funny i expected there to be an even funnier follow up) And then LYING AND TRICKING YOUR AUDIENCE. I am appaled thst anyone would ever watch Luis and The Aliens. Please, stick to Luis and the Aliens 2

Pretty dissapointing i read a review saying the reef 2 was better than the reef but let me tell you folks you can skip the reef 2. My kid son became a flatfish because watching this movie was a bore to him, as boring as watching a boring movie. The plot is predictable for an 8 year old to watch. But it will surprise a 7 year old so keep your kids age in check, and get them to watch the reef 2 before they get too old! also theres a third movie coming out soon(in 2 years!!!) and im so excited anyways Rodney X Pi best ship yes they have like 2 nonnegative conversations in the movie but it really could work. Then theres the matter at hands? How does Troy work in this movie! as the antagonist for the reef trilogy, how can they continue to make troys evil antics scary for kids (now that kids know that hes a shark) Its ok because they ramp it up as troy begins to abuse the Weird water magic system these movies have except he doesnt only thats what he would do in my ideal movie of this movie but its ok the actual movie is fine but Id recomend watching The Reef 1 first. At least until The Reef 3 releases then you should start with that

While the first movie in the (yet uncomplete(but the third movie is releasing soon)) trilogy, the quality definitely increases as you watch each movie. Seriously this shark tale(which is a ripoff of finding nemo) ripoff is extremely generic but The Reef 2 is surprisingly moving. Its why I rate this first movie so highly despite it not being that great. You can see where the stories going but you need to know character relationships in order to understand the reef 2. Similarly The Reef features amazing worldbuilding as well as deep criticisms of humans treatment of the ocean. Seriously i would recomend watching this with your child(unless your child works at a toxic waste dump then all of the commentary might disapoint them) But get your whole gang together for the Reef 2. Seriously the magic system in the reef is fascinating and all i can say is that The Reef 2 really expands it. WARNING: The movie does end with a dance number but i have to make an exception for this one as this song is bomping i dont remember what it was. Also Troy is the villain hes mean and he comes back in the reef 2 and the reef 2 let me tell you.... Its even better
