I think this movie had every opportunity to be great and it failed. It stole the story of Black panther(the long lost son) and didn’t live it’s truth. The whole flow of the film wasn’t well thought out. With the all star cast, they had them over act in scenes and made the film feel like a “B rated movie”. With all the advances of the modern women(black), the story line could have went deeper to allow his wonderful black daughters to break African tradition and rule the nation. Though the movie was nostalgic at times, the comedy wasn’t on the pulse of our black revolution. I feel like I watched the blooper reel and didn’t get to see Coming to America 2. I don’t want to see this again‼️ Let this be a lesson to all those who try to remake classics.
