Great pop record. Definitely makes one nostalgic. The sound of the 80s, 90s as well as early 2000s makes every song an earworm. The tunes are too catchy to make one get over the album quickly. The album easily has a shelf life value more than most other pop albums these days.

Rare is probably Selena's career-best masterpiece. This definitely seems to be the peak of Selena's career. The album had me hooked for more than a month. Even the bonus tracks Souvenir, Boyfriend and She are great. Not a single dull moment on the record. Definitely deserves Grammy nods this year.
