I would say that this movie was one of the best horror movies to have ever been created. The acting was outstanding, full credit to Sophia Lillis and Finn Wolfhard, who’s emotions were nonstop perfect throughout the entire movie. It was inspiring to feel the connection of friendship with The Losers and to think deeply about what they were each going through. The movie was chaotic, funny, and very entertaining.
The cinematography was excellent, and Pennywise gave viewers much to think about. The make up, affects, and acting of his character was downright terrifying you could just yell in excitement. The movie keeps you in the edge of your seat the entire time, and you just wonder what could happen next.
The gore in this movie was not too terrible. There are sometimes where you see blood spraying, and a bite wound on a child. There is no sex, except for Beverly (Sophia Lillis), who’s father is sexual towards her, but there are no scenes where he does anything, except attempts to attack her.
I recommend this movie for anyone who loves a great exciting, terrifying horror movie to watch on a dark Saturday night by yourself;)
