I loved the characters . They all had problems that were age-appropriate instead of having adult problems which a lot of movies seem to give kids their age these days. And they had real problems kids deal with and dealt with back during the Vietnam war I am a product of that era so I remember watching coverage of the Vietnam war Being on every night and listening to Walter Cronkite talk about the war. And wondering when my father would be coming home from the Vietnam. My father being gone during Vietnam so that was scary enough in itself. I can remember all of the kids on the Base and K-part housing making up ghost stories in the woods and always ghost hunting or werewolf hunting or looking through “haunted houses” we were always looking for a good scare back then so I can definitely identify. I think we were more scared to have someone come to our door and tell us our dads were not ever coming home again than anything.
The movie was very nostalgic as far as the music goes I love the atmosphere the characters and the way that they work together to solve their problems . I can’t wait for the next movie to come out and I am a huge fan of Guillermo Del Toro. Great job if my two boys were younger I would definitely take them to see this movie it proves that you can still get a good scare With out a lot of blood and guts and foul language. Thank you.
