It may be an old wine in a new bottle but overall it is good. A watchable movie with a family. It shows a women can do anything in life or achieve anything if she is given the chance to prove her abilities as the song suggest Komal hai magar kamjor nahin.

One of the best movies I have ever watched. There are two or three pictures which are set music and dance and this is one of the best. Shivaji and Padmini are always in their elements. No one can compare them in their style of acting. Present generation of actors should learn from them how to live upto the roles assigned to them. The last but not the least Manorama and Nagesh were best in their roles. One can watch this movie with family.

Natural acting by all the lead actors, even the supporting artist played their roles with perfection. Bharatham is the one movie I can recommend to the people to watch. Music was too good and the legendary singers Balamurali Krishna and Yesudas sang quite brilliantly. Overall watchable Film with family. Last but not the least Let Tamil Film makers take a leaf out of this and make good, watchable movies.
