I knew the story of course, but didn't even remember the 'Alive' movie, or even make the connection to be fair...this is certainly an upgrade. The film makers have provided a completely engrossing experience, from the building of the characters prior to the flight, the sheer terror of the crash, the haunting claustrophobia during the avalanches, and all the impossible mental and physical struggles that were endured. Superb casting and cinemaphotography; film making at its finest.

Wholly original and delightfully quirky, well cast with seasoned actors and just the right mixture of suspense and gore; thoroughly entertaining
