I just started this series. Why in the world is the main character and others speaking with a British twang??! Seriously it ruins this series.. Old Lali in the opening scene speaks English with a a euro accent, how hard could it have been for the young Lali to do the same?? I’m annoyed by this. It could’ve made a huge difference

What a story!! I started reading the book but had to put it down knowing the series came out!! I’m so bummed it’s over. What an incredible incredible story of love and resilience in the worst period of history… bless the Kurc family! The casts made this bearable to watch. Incredible acting. Felt every word spoken. Joey King is a force!
