I saw a full Marathi film first time even though Hindi version (Dhadak) was released a few weeks ago. I did not see it to ensure that I see the original film in Marathi first. The subject is not new but simplicity, music, real locations throughout the film, honesty, photography, new talent and many more make it a good watchable film. The ending was like in Manto stories. I liked complete disengagement of the lovers from parents. Nobody knows what is cooking at her parents home till the end. That was brought out very effectively. Child slowly walking to dead parents ane then moving out of house towards aunti was touching. Hundred percent reflection of Indian rural society. This film brought back my memories of some of the best films made by K. Vishwanath and K. Balachander in Telugu.
