I'm on the fence with this show. It definitely leans very left with the way they talk about politics and social issues, which is fine with me. But I found the writing to be very simple and robotic. There is a clear message and a clear problem for all the characters to solve right from the get-go. They did a very good job with representing minority groups and their every day struggles but all the characters felt very 2 dimensional. We do get to see a display of all the accents, voices, and quick wit Gabriel has to offer which really was this show's saving grace.
I recommend watching it for the message they're trying to put out but I wish they spent more time on the writing table.
