Allan Hutchen

Robert Redford is one of the finest actors of his or any other generation. This film was a perfect vehicle for the acting chops he still, clearly has. It's a delightful, if not reverent role for him. The director has created a film that harkens back to when film makers searched for real, human interest stories. Would love to see more films like this.

Garner has the ability to make you feel for her characters, rather it's joy or heartbreak. Her performance here is no different. Imagine how much more she could have shone with a meatier script. While I appreciated the storyline, I felt some of the plot was thin. All in all though, Garner's performance was enough to keep me interested and her ability to pull off the physical aspects of the role were worth the watch.
