Rating: 7/10 Acting: Excellent performance by Ajay Devgn and Ileana. I was full of hatred for Tauji (the villain played by Saurabh Shukla), and that just speaks how well he performed. After seeing Saurabh Shukla's performance in both the parts of Jolly LLB, and PK, I have become a fan of the guy. Story: Given that this was directed by makers of my favorite films - A Wednesday, Baby, and Drishyam - I was expecting more drama and thrill. That said, the film captivated my attention throughout its runtime. I didn't like the songs intruding the flow of the story, but that wasn't big of a deal. The film was a great watch on a whole, but since my expectations were already high, I was left wanting for more in the end. I hope Bollywood looks beyond the tried and tested romantic genre, and makes more such films.

tl;dr: If you are looking for a movie that makes your heart wrench with romance, this is it. This was easily one of the best romantic movies I have watched till date. If you are in the right mood, this movie will strike your core. It will shake you up, and drench you in every ounce of romance. I don't usually cry while watching movies, but this one was an exception. The plot is very well woven and I ended up appreciating slightest of the elements. And of course, complementing the great story is the phenomenonal acting. If you have recently watched an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks, like The Notebook, I would recommend holding off for a while and then watching this.
