It was good enough, hitting most of the beats. Considering what 7&8 left to build on, it was a decent conclusion. Yeah, it wasn’t that imaginative, and it had some odd choices, but it helped sweep TLJ under the rug a bit, while providing some epic scenes that make you still care.
