Loved the first WW, but this one is a dud. Diana's story is reduced to nothing more than frustration and bad childhoods bringing the world to the edge through a TV signal. Seriously? Pedro Pascal and Kristin Wiig do a perfectly fine job as actors, but the story is cheap and cheesy. Writers and directors have a wealth of historical comic storylines they could have flushed out with infinitely more depth and substance, but the wrong choices were made at every turn. Even the major action sequences felt forced and unnecessary for the terrible plot. I genuinely wanted to like this film, but its impossible. I hope it doesn't kill off the character for future movies.
