I love this programme. Watching the recent episode talking about planting trees and the importance of trees to our lives it occurred to me that more should be done to prevent our green belt sites being sold off to the highest bidder in the name of 'much needed housing. Only too often perfectly good brownfield sites are overlooked as options for new housing and old established trees are felled. New housing estates are about pure profit. poorly built crammed together with little or no green space . .
