Yesterday, as a recommendation from my daughter, I watched "The Central Park Five" it is not an easy watch, and I am still tense in my body and frankly depressed about what happened to those (then) teenage boys. It reminded me why I put myself at risk of looking disinformed than watching the news. (I haven't watched the news since I was 20 years old, especially not the crime section.)
Anyone interested in false confessions will benefit from watching it. Donald Trump, that Linda woman...all feeling 'offended' by how they were portrayed...give me break...Linda Fairstain suing Netflix and Ava DuVerney for the other miniseries (LOL) 'because she was wrongly portrayed as a racist'
YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF RACIAL BIAS! Trump??? No comments...
I have to look at these horrendous cases as part of my degree in psychology (forensics) being Brazilian I am traumatised by police brutality who killed at least 5 people that I know (all from financially impoverished backgrounds, black, under 18) and the general population partly 'admires' these attitude for making them 'getting what they deserve' just normal part of life there, you don't even think too much about there...
It's a f'''''' up world
Hopefully as individuals we can learn and be better people to change things..
