Hi I am Partha Sarathi Das, residing in Guwahati, Assam .I highly rate KBC anchored by the great actor, Dada Saheb Phalke award winner Amitabh Bacchan . This is the only Hindi programme that I watch in TV. Here, I as an Assamese must bring it to the notice of Amitabh Bacchan that he totally lacks knowledge about Assam, glorious history of Assam, rich culture , tradition, language, script , literature of the state and trying to distort my language . Today ie 30th November 2021 , I was watching his famous programme KBC where in he mentioned the title of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika to be similar to Bengali language and the poor small child Rajnandini Kalita had to nod -yes .The similar incident happened when India's great runner Miss Hima Das, from Assam was invited to KBC and , Amitbh Bacchan foolishly welcome her in Bengali ( Ami ektu ektu Bangla balte jani ) .Bacchan must know that we are together a separate entity, our history, our literature dates back to the time Mahabharata and beyond . A simple example of Assam is that we defeated Mughals 17 ( seventeen ) times in stead of bowing down to mighty Mughals, who tried to occupy my state ( then independent sovereign country ) .Many Rajas of India at that time, licked the boots of Aurangzeb, and we Assamese defied it . Therefore, a simple request to Amitabh Bacchan that he should not make any comment about my language ...... when his knowledge about Assam is absolutely ZERO. He should study about Assam, at least for another 10 ( ten ) years and open his mouth . Else he should he should keep his mouth shut. Extremely good !!!! .Your attempt to find out diamonds in the black coal mines is appreciable. A country can not survive without culture , traditions , heritage and history . . I suggest that the team of Sa re ga ma visit rural India and small towns where traditional uncorrupt music ,rustic folk music is the life of the common people.We have a sacred duty to the nation to preserve our culture ,tradition and rich heritage. It is not important who wins the contest , it is important what opportunity we as a nation has given our innocent poor silenced millions children of Indian villages with tremendous talent , who need our help to shine and keep our rich history and tradition of this country alive .
