Just back from watching the movie , very different to the eye than the others and although I enjoyed the marvel of the fight scenes and cinematic experience of the first 3 this still worked for me . The focus is more on the narrative , which had my full attention. Over 2 hours long and I never looked at my watch once . Watched it at the imax and I think it actually took away some of the movie but would not have in the originals . If you are a matrix fan then this is a must , If not it may not be held in such high regard

Walked out after 45 mins so it may have improved . The character of the "baddie" was just too much , I initially thought it was a false pretence but nope, . Could not take it seriously , comparable to watching an early teens movie with a comical baddie and his various interactions with other characters which was awful.. had so much potential . If it did improve I may watch it from an hour onwards once available on streaming
