Irreverent, but laugh out loud comedy that was certainly Rodney Dangerfield's best screen work. Great supporting cast, including Sally Kellerman, Ned Beatty, M. Emmet Walsh, Sam Kinison, and Robert Downey Jr. in an early role. You even get a funny cameo by none other than Kurt Vonnegut, playing himself. The plot and dialog still work, even today.

I saw this in the theater when it first came out. A stunning experience that can't be explained to today's millennials. At its core, its a morality play, and a truly underrated one. Yes, the animation is dated, but there is no denying that this movie's soundtrack is the best ever. Though I give mostly high marks to all of the actors voicing the characters, for my money, this movie made John Candy a legend.

'Cats' cannot be the worst movie ever, as some here are implying. My wife was out of town, and I went to see 'Howard the Duck' in a movie theater. I was alone in the theater. On a Friday. I rest my case.
