Beautiful movie that fills you with longing for a world you have never set a foot in.

best drama of 2021. Super unique plot. Many twists and turns. A LOT of action. Will leave you on the edge of your seat for the whole 20 episodes. No slow moments. Favourite lines (episode 18): "Guess what the Mafia used to call me. Gatto sazio. A cat that's full. It toys with a mouse all day before eating it... You're my mouse." (episode 20): "Talking about justice doesn't bring about justice."

A simplistic movie, with minimal dialogue, minimal characters, minimal music. There really isn't much going on, but it's a realistic depiction of the end of a relationship. It's quite slow, with some moments entirely unnecessarily dragged out. But the actors did a wonderful job nonetheless with the characters they've been given. It reminded me of the movie Late Autumn in its style.

Watched early June 2021! 4.5 stars!

This isn't like the typical movie with shallow plot or superficial characters. It is minimalistic in style, yet there is tons of symbolism and parallelism, leaving quite a bit of interpretation up to the watcher. The acting is wonderful, I could feel Tang Wei's pain through the screen. Late Autumn is for those who want to watch a true piece of art.
