Too bad - The main character’s mom, kids and our beloved American Pie alum Chris Klein have adequate depth to have made this a good series — we can even give a pass to the the shallow hunkiness of Cal Maddox. But the God-awful acting of Hallmark girl Joanne Garcia as the main character is gonna sink this ship quick! Her acting is sooooooo boring and FLAT and Heather Hedley as their BFF is soooo overdone and unrealistic. The writing is boring, unoriginal, thoughtless, fake-Southern and lacks an actual storyline. Bad casting and poor writing, this is only being watched because everything else worthwhile watching is being put on hold because of Covid!
