As the name suggests, it definitely dominates your faith for Lord Shri Ram and His existence but there was a lot of scope for making it better. The direction was at flaw. At some of the scenes, there should have been background of scenes from Ramayana(black and white too would have done justice) but nothing like that happened. Sometimes, it felt like the movie is majorly about the enmity of protagonist and antagonist as the chase seemed like never ending. Also, some of the questions were left unanswered. Now the plus point: Akshay who lately had been acting in the same tone same pattern was different in this one. Jacqueline and even Nushrat didn't make any special impact. Their roles weren't prominent at all. But other side actors were good. AP and Nasser were lovely! Acted exactly like their roles.But considering the title and the performance of actors in a minute role, I liked this movie. Could be watched once. Rest we all are different so our options too will be. So, watch and decide your own. But do watch 😊

For those who have already watched Ratsasan or its dubbed version in Hindi as Main hoon dandadhikari will understand that Cuttputli is a failed copy of this masterpiece. I agree that the actors of Cuttputlli might have performed the best they could but they should have understood that the one they were copying this time was a masterpiece and didn't require any alterations. Visible difference is there in both of the movies. Every emotion in Ratsasan was so true and intense while the Cuttputlli ones are just acting because they agreed to act. In Ratsasan the lady playing the role of police inspector is so negative that one will actually end up hating her. So real were her expressions while here in Cuttputlli, Sargun is portrayed as a good character, which is fine, but there it lost the originality. Also, there is no detailed background of the villian. It has plenty of loopholes when we compare but it can be liked by others who are watching such stuff for the very first time.
