Let me start this off by saying that I don't science fiction. I got bored of star wars and never read the I survived books even when everyone else around me loved them. I don't think I had ever even picked up and finished a science fiction book until now. We just read this book in class and the second I heard science fiction, I knew I wouldn't like the book. Well, I was wrong. It took me a little while, but soon enough I started loving the book. Now, I have no idea what any of the sciency stuff means, and I don't care, but this book is so much more than the stereotypical science fiction. It has so much emotion put into it and you are able to feel what Ender (or whoever's pov it currently is) feels. He starts off at six, but is so mature and mentally developed it feels like you're reading about teenagers. You feel how tired he is, how sad he is, how he is suppressing his emotions. You feel Valentine's contradictory feelings towards Peter, and her regret towards ender. This book is definitely amazing and I recommend it for sure
