I loved it. Everyone is so jaded by Hollywood thinking this dude was too boring or stupid. (The killer) The fact is, serial killers are notoriously dumb and get lucky so often. The roll Josh played jumping between feeling invincible, ODC, and paranoid yet feeling nothing at the same time was incredible. I wasn't looking for gore or crazy super intellect. I'm bored with it being so stereotypical. This was by far pleasantly surprising without having to be grotesque and violent. It's about a real mind.

It has come to my conclusion that Mike Flanagan is a genius. The beauty and poetry he puts into his work that's considered "horror" is untouchable. The emotion that he has you ride on is outstanding and dare I say the bias with his cast is not to be overlooked. From Hill House to Bly Manor, each series have all played their roll as it was intended and it is "perfectly splendid". I could never tell what side of good or evil Hamish Linklater was on until the end which leads me to beg for an encore by him in anything Mike makes in the future. Bravo.

This was absolutely amazing. The acting in it was flawless. Alot of people said it was over the top but I think it nailed what it was trying to provide. Heath Ledger made a very convincing comic book character come alive with an amazing performance but, Joaquin played a disturbed, lost soul that couldn't have been more down on his luck and instead of taking his own live he found solace in taking the life of others as one would portray a realistic Joker type character leading into how he created a movement for the low tier and he was the star of his own show. I want more!
