This is what happens when extremely talentless people cannot come up with their own thing. Literally, the most "not so creative" movie ever made where you just swap the gender of the main character to send a "message". What is the message? That women had been fighting for a long time and can take out a whole army? See, I understand that these are simply action movies and just made for entertainment, but the ridiculousness and the obnoxiousness from the characters to the plot makes it not enjoyable at all. What is even more mind-numbingly stupid are the women who gave it 5 stars and are whining about how this is "female empowerment" and sends a good message. So, a woman beating about 100 men alone is female empowerment? Why not put 100 women and make her fight? At least that would make more sense and is more realistic and would be entertaining. But of course not, it has to be a frail woman beating 100 men, because the "message" is women are better than men and can beat any man at anything. LMAO. You know what, I will give the people who enjoy this movie, the liberty to do so. Because, only through fiction will they ever be able to achieve their fantasy goal of "women being badass". LMFAO. Once they touch the grass, their bubble is going to shatter so bad, lol.

it is just sad. I mean, the fight scenes were good, some of them. But it is just said. Now that I think about it, there are literally no enjoyable movies these days. Like something good good, you know what I am saying? Everything is just filled with woke BS, and I am not offended or anything but I am just sad that there is not a single movie/series out there in recent years without including woke BS or jumping on the bandwagon. The Whale was good but that is pretty much it. Times are truly ending isn't it?

Ah yes.... let's swap genders of an already great movie. What is more infuriating is not the fact that the lead of the movie is female (it is kinda pushing and unnecessary) but it is the fact that the antagonist is male and not female. So basically a frail woman beating the men's btts who are also trained btw. It would be understandable if it was a female on female fight like how the other movies used to have male on male fights. This is the problem with all these woke movies. Sadly, I thought this is something of the 21st century... you know changing genders of main characters. But it goes back to 1990s. Smh.

This show illustrates the current double standard we have in society. How this series has a 90%+ in rotten tomatoes, speaks volumes. Almost as if the ratings are arbitrarily controlled by a bunch of people with their own agenda. The story is based on two people who both contribute to a toxic marriage. The wife refuses to take any accountability for her part and slides into a drug-fuelled disaster while she plots the death of her husband. She continuously assaults men after putting herself in bad situations. It's all poorly passed off as comedy, while if the roles were switched and the show was based on a man who tried to murder his wife while continuing to assault women, this show would not see the light of day and all actors would not have a career after such a disaster. Some if the actors in this show are involved in many feminist movements that are against domestic abuse while gladly acting in a show that champions domestic abuse and passing it off as a twist on comedy.

Wow, this show talks down to its audience and is far too political! It honestly is the most lackluster portion of the DC Arrowverse. The characters act as though no one can hear them as they speak loudly on how Karra is Supergirl and the whole cast are aliens in the same breath. We get so many disingenuous circumstances that I am surprised they keep the show still on. The dynamic between Alex and Supergirl is poorly written, making the characters less like sisters who have known each other for most of their lives, and more like to friends who just met and do not understand social cues with their OWN adopted family. I REALLY wanted to like this show, I was told good things about it. I watched the first season and tried to give season 2 and 3 a chance, and yet not a single memorable characters comes out of it. The chemistry isn't there and it takes the worst parts of a novella and steals Superman's villains each season. Her own villains are left with little attention that they could easily flesh out. I strayed away from the overbearing feminist topic in this review because it is pretty bad. However I can honestly overlook that annoying preachy tone if the writing was presented well with respect to the source material. This piece of media is not aimed solely at children, so the argument of "it doesn't have to be good" never should apply. Put some really love into your work and respect Supergirl as a character! She deserves to be a role model, but not this watered down melodrama. (For those who hate Melissa Benoist, go look up her other works like Whiplash, Homeland, and Glee. She is not the problem, nor is most of the actors. The issue is the writing staff.)

Sht plot. Don't get me wrong, we have seen movies from both sides... the US and the Russia to glorify their countries. Nothing wrong with that. But this is just bad plot, cinematography, direction all around.

Shtty woke movie. No wonder why it was taken by netflix. The movie didn't break stereotypes. The only thing it broke is what constitutes as entertainment because people unironically find this movie amazing. That is what happens when you have a bunch of people who jump on the bandwagon, am I right?
