Well Ubisoft, you’ve done it again. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is, in essence, Assassin’s Creed: Pandora, Far Cry 7, Watch Dogs 4, and just about every other game that’s been rewashed and put out in the past decade or two. It’s a shame, really, as Avatar has so much content to utilize, and if it were handled by any other studio, then a lot of it could’ve been brought to life. Alas, Frontiers of Pandora is little more than a reskin of Ubisoft’s previous works — join a revolution, and return the lands to their rightful owners. There are fetch quests, basic-level crafting moments, and of course, enemy camps to pluck clean. And that’s about it, unfortunately.
There isn’t a creative bone in this company’s body, and it’s really starting to show.
