Mediocre performance. Cinematography is not among the best. VFX is very lousy. Music is good. Adaptation of storyline was not done properly. Should have not included Bill Gates if the VFX team is not capable to produce a good quality effect with proper lighting. With a budget of 58 crores, this movie is a shame to the art industry. This was a mere business investment and not a piece of art that we can nourish. Having read the book, I am disappointed in the screen play. Arjun Kapoor could have at lease "worked" on his Bihari accent. He definitely has no passion for acting. Apart from a little emotions, this movie is a disaster. (Not comparing it to the books but this movie does not deserve anything).

This is a must watch. People here are talking about loopholes and bad story and lack of science. The way I watched this movie was not to get thrilled. This movie has a deep meaning that many haven't discovered. This movie talks about "what is the purpose of human life?" Many still, being old enough, don't know the answer. Many don't have a purpose. It is such an inspiration. The movie says we must pass on the information to next generations just as a cell passes information to the next. There is an inspiring line in the movie at the end: "LIFE WAS GIVEN TO US A BILLION YEARS AGO. NOW YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT". I felt it.
