Not for faint of heart, or medium of heart. Very disturbing but the storytelling and the depiction of the intricacies of the power dynamics in colonial Australia are incredibly well done. This movie uses extreme violence not to shock the audience but to tell the bare truth of the story of colonial Australia that is often glossed over in media. Incredible acting and use of languages and scenery.
