Ok, I get all the deeper meaning reviews regarding toxic masculinity, but if they accompany a positive, ”you should watch this” assessment then you’re only shooting yourselves in your feet because most guy’s own “toxic masculinity” will prevent them from watching a flic about toxic masculinity. Now that I’ve said toxi...blah blah blah enough times, let me just say that this is an original movie unlike anything else available. It has karate, action, suspense, humor (albeit very dark), violence, and a unique plot. This could easily have been a character study, but people are tired of movies about people that lack any type of plot. Seriously, why do character studies lack a story line? But I digress. This movie has an interesting lead character, along with everything I listed above successfully strung together in a unique way that makes this movie a must watch and then probably buy a copy and watch it again and again and...

To anyone saying this movie is great, or even good(there’s a lot of them), I just have to ask, “huh?” I tried to like it, I really did. The actors were too good for this movie. I couldn’t understand why anyone liked it but came to the conclusion that the actors turned a bad script into a watchable movie and tricked people into thinking it was good. For at least half of the movie, I was asking myself what the hell was going on. Scenes played out way to long, and there’s warning that it’ll be this way in the beginning when a credit page takes like 3-5 minutes(felt like 15) to roll out. You can watch this and tell yourself you like it because so many others did, or you can be honest with yourself and shut it off half way into it because it doesn’t get any better than what you’ve already seen.
