I watched this film with my 38 year old daughter, who loved the animated film of 1989. We both absolutely loved this love version. The cinematography is stunning, the new additions to the soundtrack are delightful, the chemistry between Ariel and Eri, both excellent choices for their respective roles, is very well portrayed, and the character development of all the main characters enhances the story to such a level this is a film adults can truly enjoy experiencing; it speak to the heart in a way we adults can relate to. IMO this film really should be marketed to ages 13 plus. I am genuinely pleased with this movie and look forward to owning a DVD copy for my personal library, if its released as such.

Wonderful movie: acting is professional and believable; the story is captivating; the dialog is rich. My only complaint would be a personal preference for much less of the use of the "f" word; aside from that this is an a+ movie for a mature audience seeking a story that deep, meaningful, and believable.
