I was so disappointed in this movie. Just read the other reviews they had it on point. The sea wizard WAY over acts his part. The little girls powers doesnt make sense at all. They take WAY too long of pauses for dramatic effect and it doesnt deliver the scene properly.The fight scenes were mediocre at best and the fortune teller was a way more interesting character than the rest. The only good actors in the movie were the narrator, the little girls uncle, the lady whos house theyre staying in, and the fortune teller. The only way this movie would be enjoyable is if strictly children watched it and I mean kids probably 9 or 10 and under, (given how screen addicted they are these days) even they know better quality movies. Thank heavens disney is doing a proper live action remake. Im sure it will be 10000 times better. The mermaids name isnt even ariel. I assume that since this isnt a disney film thats why they stretched so far from that version but still. Such an utter disappointment guys.
