SPOILERS!!
Given the fact that this movie was shot in 8 days, I think it was really good. Only giving 4 stars though because the way it ended.
You feel bad for Melinda. You see her put so much energy into their relationship in the beginning. She uses her money to help fund his project that he just cant seem to get right. He cheats on her as well (before they get married that is). She even buys him a car. You start understand why she has all that resentment and bitterness. He doesnt try to get a job to help her out during their 18 years of marriage. He stops showing affection except when things start to go further south for them.
When shes finally had enough of listening to her sisters about him, she divorces him. The woman he cheated on her with years ago ends up helping him get his project shown to her boss and he likes it. The divorce gets finalized and then flash forward a bit. He shows up to her work and gives her a check for 10 million, the deed to her moms house (which she mortgaged for him), and flowers to apologize for everything he put her through. To make up for what she lost. You can see he is genuinely sorry for everything. She was determined to believe he had cheated on her again when he didnt. He was for her 100% after she caught him the first time years before. She didnt believe it though (understandable). He eventually moved on with the woman he cheated on her with years before. She truly believed in his dreams. He ends up proposing to her. Mel becomes bitter and tries to sabotage everything out of jealousy. In the end, her bitterness got the best of her and she ends up getting herself killed in a fit of rage trying to get what she thought she deserved from him that the new woman got.
It was a decent movie. I just, again, wasn't fond of the ending. It was a bit dramatic. But other than that I enjoyed it
