This is an iconic show, and I really hate that it was replaced by Dreamhouse Adventures. No hate to Dreamhouse Adventures, but this show is a classic and the characters are a lot funnier in my opinion. the Barbie and Ken vs. Raquelle and Ryan rivalry was hilarious, and the exaggerated vanity of all the dolls was so entertaining. The chaotic anything-can-happen nature of the show is so dumb yet works so well with the over the top personalities of Barbie and her friends. Also, the way all the characters are aware of their status as plastic dolls was GENIUS and really added to the absurd humor of it all. The reality TV-show format definitely added some much needed characterization to characters that weren't the main sisters and was a fun way to show what the characters were thinking without taking attention away from the main star of the show. The wild unpredictability of the series added to the charm of the show, too. In one episode a giant mannequin doll head of Barbie is destroying the Dreamhouse and in the next episode they're bathing in hot chocolate and in another they're flooding the house with cupcakes. I'm seeing some comments from parents saying that it's a bad influence on children, and to be fair, it couldn't have been for little 3 year olds like Peppa Pig or something, but it isn't a teenage show at all. The show exists to make kids laugh, not to teach them how to behave. Look to Aesop's fables if you want to teach your kid how to act. Overall, a great show to watch when nobody is around. 10/10. (P.S Teresa's stupidity was absolutely glorious to watch. Her driving off the canyon in 'Amaze Chase'? Legendary.)
