ah yes i too treat blunt force trauma with an iv drip the cgi for the monsters themselves was pretty neat, there were a few beautifully cinematic shots, but i feel that the direction of the film was more 'oh i wanna see this happen' rather than a coherent storyline. the pacing was super quick, protag is a mary sue and it made it a very good movie to make fun of at the back of the theatre. it was cool seeing references to the games for nostalgias sake, but as a movie and a coherent narrative *fullstop*, this is 2 hours of well lit garbage
