Entertaining and shocking. Just when you think you know where the story is going or what the main character is going to do…you’re wrong.

Critics want to dismiss this movie but I thought that the concept was really cool and the acting was great. The character dynamics and action of the movie really keeps your interest. I could tell that there was more to the plot that was probably addressed in the books and they definitely set it up for there to be a sequel. Some people were mad that they made the characters older but I thought that it made the movie more believable. I don’t think two 13 year olds would realistically be able to complete the action scenes and other physical feats completed by the main characters. I hope that they make a sequel to this so that we can delve deeper into the fantasy and character back stories.
