I love the show from a action plot perspective. It has constant challenges and revelations . What I have a problem with is the fact it claims to be based on before the Captin Kirk voyage, yet the technology seems a bit too advanced with capabilities that aren't remotely possible in the first series of star trek. The first series carried a great moral base line that was mostly inclusive of different races and species, the discovery series attempts to do that but it stretches the likelihood with inter species love relationships. Overall.. I like the show and can't wait for the 3rd season. :-)
