Seems like a lot of negative reviews on here for this movie. Little surprised by that. The performance by Brad Pitt is excellent! He walks the line between being one note laconic and emotionally reserved and does that with subtlety. The special effects are fantastic and remind me of 2001:A Space Odyssey in the practical manner in which they are utilized in the story. The pace is likely a little slow for some folks, but I prefer to think of it as a steady build to a worthwhile climax. Good themes and messages even if they ultimately are rather straightforward. I recommend this movie!
