Formulaic and American schmaltz. Not creepy, not insightful about how human beings act in a crisis, despite what Emily and John Blunt say about it (for that watch Zombieland). A Quiet Film is a rubbish gimmick. Even the so-called 'tense' music is formulaic and not scary or thrilling. Boring. Predictable. This was hyped up to make John Krasinski's career sky rocket. I honestly don't know if he deserves that or not based on this rubbish...do you like The Dark Knight? The Godfather? 2001 A Space Odyssey? Apocalypse Now? If you do, then don't watch this trollop...

Wow, I'm the first one to review Filter's Short Bus on Google Reviews!!! LMAO. I got this album back in 1998/1999. I loved it not only because it was good but also because I was the only person I knew with it. I have tried to give it 3.5 stars but there is no option on here to do that right now (2021) so I've given it 4 stars. I feel like some of the songs are a little bit weak and the industrial production sound of the drums, bass, guitars and synths are not fully polished & sounded a bit dated even back then. But in another way - that's part of the appeal! It's a choice by the artist and is part of the art. Songs like Hey Man Nice Shot, Dose, Stuck In Here are still magic. Consider This is one of my favourite songs of all time...check 'em out. You won't regret it.
