Watched 30 mins; switched off after being so incredibly bored. Embarrassing that people thought this was a good concept and then ran with it. Silent & boring scenes, that go nowhere. I’m going to guess Casey was paid for the first 10 mins and they had an extra put the sheet on. Couldn’t imagine the film getting any better and according to the reviews, it didn’t. An hour of my life saved!

I stopped by episode 3, too much woke going on and too many plots and unlikeable characters. Read the reviews to see where it was heading and decided to cut my losses

If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. I managed just over an hour before I had to switch off, which also included wine. By minute 22, on to the third song. The movie relies too heavily on having a lot of well-known actors and like all those films relying on an all-star cast, it’s rubbish. Songs weren’t particularly catchy, but thank heavens for a lot of post production work and auto-tune. Truly dreadful and I don’t understand this obsession with making popular films into musicals, they rarely work. Skip this and go back to the classics, a cringy watch.

I was initially put off by the length of this film, but it flew in. Genuinely lovely story, well written, some good comedy and great acting. Left me all warm and fuzzy inside, such a feel-good film. Definitely worth a watch

On the fence about having kids? Watch this and your mind will be made up. Honestly couldn’t finish the second episode. It is a weak attempt at trying to be hip with the inside knowledge of being a teenager in the current climate. It is utterly embarrassing and Joey is incredibly irritating trying to be an uber hip feminist. The opening scenes of what she’s doing to “help” her incredibly annoying friend is also disturbing. Who actually rated this as something good to watch? I can only imagine it’s pre-pubescent teens thinking “that is such a cool life” and living in the hope they’ll “be cool” like this bunch of degenerates. Woeful garbage. Seriously considering cancelling Netflix is this is all they have to offer

Wow, what a waste of 2 hours of your life. I liked Elton prior to watching this, but if this is a true reflection of his life then he was / is an extremely unlikeable person. The whole film was so cringey, an epic fail at a musical. Utterly boring, not captivating in the slightest. The urge to scroll through your phone will become too much and will be more entertaining than this. It did hit tv very quickly after release, unlike other, better films of the same genre. That speaks volumes.
